we’ve been seeing augmented reality in the industry press quite a lot recently and i’m convinced similar proposals are in countless pitch decks at the moment. arguments over barriers to entry are still there but webcam penetration is ever increasing.

Now it looks to get more mainstream as PlayStation and their Eye Toy technology have jumped on board and are releasing their EyePet product later this year. it looks fantastic
